Dhaka: Varawut Silpa-archa, Thailand’s Minister for Social Development and Human Security, called on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus here on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit. Jiraporn Sindhuprai, Thailand’s Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, also met the Bangladesh Chief Adviser during the event.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, these meetings were part of a series of engagements on the sidelines of the summit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new areas of cooperation between Thailand and Bangladesh. The discussions are believed to have focused on mutual interests and regional cooperation under the BIMSTEC framework.
