Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted that day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country in the next 24 hours, beginning at 9:00am today. However, sporadic rain or thunder showers are likely in one or two places over the Chattogram division, according to a bulletin issued by the BMD this morning. The weather is expected to remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies in other parts of the country.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the highest temperature recorded on Monday was 36.2 degrees Celsius in Feni, while the lowest temperature was recorded today at 20.5 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat, Kurigram. In Dhaka, the sun is set to descend at 5:28pm today and will reappear at 5:59am tomorrow.
