Dhaka: State-owned mobile network operator Teletalk Bangladesh Limited today launched three Data and Voice packages for people living in haor, hilly and coastal remote areas, along with a special data offer for students and freelancers. The initiative aims to enhance connectivity in underserved regions and provide affordable digital services to a broader audience.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the packages were formally inaugurated through a digital platform at an event held at the Teletalk Bangladesh Limited premises. This launch is part of the 180-day action plan directed by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, as mentioned in a press release. The Teletalk Managing Director, Nurul Mabud Chowdhury, officiated the inauguration ceremony, which was attended by senior officials of the company.
The three specialised Data and Voice packages introduced under the "Pranto" series include "Pranto Basic," "Pranto Smart," and "Pranto Connect." These packages are priced affordably, considering the needs and usage patterns of customers in remote and underserved areas, facilitating both voice calling and data services.
Additionally, Teletalk has launched a special data offer for students and freelancers. This package provides 20 GB of data at Tk 229 with a validity of 30 days, catering to the digital needs of students and freelancers who require reliable internet access for educational and professional purposes.
Customers interested in these offers can avail themselves by dialing designated USSD codes or recharging the specified amount. More detailed information, including applicable terms and conditions, USSD codes, and other instructions, will be available on Teletalk's official Facebook page and website.
