Narsingdi: The Ministry of Education has taken action against a teacher for allegedly engaging his students in evaluating Alim-2026 examination papers, in violation of the prescribed examination paper evaluation procedure. A case has been filed against the teacher and he has been permanently barred from all board examination-related activities, a press release of the ministry said.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Md Nasir Uddin, an assistant professor at Godaichar Achia Islamia Alim Madrash in Narsingdi, had the Alim-2026 examination papers evaluated by his students instead of evaluating those himself. After being informed about the incident, the education minister instructed the authorities to take appropriate actions.

Following the instruction, the Deputy Controller of Examinations of the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board filed a case against Md Nasir Uddin with Madhabdi Police Station.
