Dhaka: BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman made another visit to his mother, BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, who is currently receiving medical treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, confirmed that Tarique Rahman arrived at the hospital at 9:40 pm. Khaleda Zia has been admitted to the hospital since November 23, and her treatment is being managed by a team of medical experts, including both local and international specialists.
Tarique Rahman recently returned to Bangladesh after spending 17 years abroad. Upon his arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, he participated in a reception rally organized by the BNP, held at the ‘July 36 Expressway’ (300-foot road) area in the capital.
After the rally, he proceeded to Evercare Hospital to visit his mother. During this visit, he spent nearly an hour and a half with her. He was accompanied by his wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, and their daughter, Zaima Rahman.
