Dhaka: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced that Tarique Rahman, the party's Acting Chairman, is prepared to return to Bangladesh from London if the health condition of the party's chairperson and former Prime Minister, Begum Khaleda Zia, remains unchanged.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Fakhrul stated that Tarique Rahman will assess the situation and decide on his return based on Begum Khaleda Zia's ability to be taken abroad for treatment. Fakhrul emphasized that if her health condition does not improve, Tarique Rahman will make his way back to the country soon to address the matter personally.
