Dhaka: BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will contest from Bogura-6 constituency in the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the announcement at a press conference at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan this evening.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Fakhrul stated that Tarique Rahman will be one of the contestants in the forthcoming election, representing the Bogura-6 constituency. This announcement was part of a larger revelation where the names of 237 potential candidates were disclosed for the next general election.
