Dhaka: BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has called an emergency meeting of the party's Standing Committee to be held tonight. The meeting is scheduled for 8:30 pm at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, BNP Standing Committee Member Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain confirmed the timing and location of the meeting. He mentioned that there is no specific agenda for the gathering, describing it as an 'open discussion.' Despite the absence of a defined agenda, Dr. Hossain emphasized the significance of the meeting.
Tarique Rahman, who is currently in London, will preside over the meeting virtually, bringing together key members of the BNP to discuss pressing issues and strategies.
