Dhaka: BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman called an emergency meeting of the party's Standing Committee this evening. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 7pm today at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan, as confirmed by BNP Media Cell Member Shayrul Kabir Khan.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tarique Rahman will preside over the meeting virtually from London. The agenda for the meeting has not been disclosed, but it is expected to address urgent matters concerning the party's current activities and strategies.
