Dhaka: Pace bowler Tanzim Hasan Sakib has made his return to the cricket field after successfully clearing a fitness test. Tanzim experienced stiffness in his neck during a warm-up session before a game in the National Cricket League (NCL), where he plays for the Sylhet Division. However, his recent appearance at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, where he bowled with a full run-up, signified his complete recovery. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) medical team gave Tanzim the all-clear, paving the way for his participation in the upcoming Global Super League (GSL) in Guyana, which is set to commence on November 27. Tanzim has been selected by the Guyana Amazon Warriors for the tournament, which will also feature four other teams, including the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) team Rangpur Riders. Tanzim, regarded as an integral part of Bangladesh's white-ball setup, missed the recently concluded three-match ODI series against Afghanistan due to his neck st iffness. However, there is a possibility of his return to the national team for Bangladesh's tour of the West Indies. The Bangladesh Test team is currently in the West Indies for a two-match series, which will be followed by three ODIs and three T20 Internationals. Tanzim is in line to be called up for both formats during this tour.
