Tanzim Sakib Joins Guyana Amazon Warriors for Global Super League.

Dateline: Dhaka: Bangladesh pacer Tanzim Sakib has been acquired by Guyana Amazon Warriors of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) to participate in the inaugural edition of the Global Super League. The tournament is set to begin on November 26; however, Tanzim's participation remains uncertain due to Bangladesh's concurrent tour of the West Indies for a full bilateral series. The series will include two Test matches, three One Day Internationals (ODIs), and three T20 Internationals. Though Tanzim is not part of the Test team, he is expected to be considered for the ODI and T20 squads. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Guyana Amazon Warriors will face the Pakistan Super League (PSL) team, Lahore Qalandars, in the tournament's opening match. The five-team T20 competition will also feature a representative from Bangladesh, as the BPL team Rangpur Riders is set to participate. Other teams in the tournament include Hampshire Hawks from England's T20 Blast and Victoria, an Australian state team. The to urnament format involves each team playing against every other team once, with the top two teams advancing to the final scheduled for December 7. All matches will be hosted at Providence, Guyana. This annual event is planned to feature different teams from around the world each year.
