Chongqing: Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Tabith Awal, alongside BFF vice president and chairman of the BFF Development Committee Md Nasser Shahrear Zahedee, motivated the Bangladesh U-17 national football team today in anticipation of their significant match against host China.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the session included the BFF president observing the players' preparations, providing key guidelines, and offering motivational remarks. The focus was on encouraging strong performance, discipline, and focus for their historical match against China.
The Bangladesh U-17 national football team is set to face China in their fifth and final group match of the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers. The match is scheduled to take place at Tongliang Long Stadium in Chongqing at 5:35 pm Bangladesh time. Both Bangladesh and China currently have 12 points each in the group. A victory for Bangladesh would secure their qualification for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup. Should the match end in a draw, the goal difference will be used to determine the group champions.
