According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rangpur demonstrated resilience by recovering from a precarious 69-6, ultimately setting a target of 190 runs for Sylhet. This turnaround was largely attributed to the crucial 149-run partnership for the seventh wicket between Tanbir Hayder and Nobin Islam. Hayder contributed 73 runs off 168 balls, hitting five fours, while Nobin supported with a 63-run effort off 182 balls, including six boundaries.
