Swedish Embassy Warns Against Fake Documents in Visa Applications

Dhaka: The Swedish Embassy in Dhaka has issued a stern warning to visa applicants, advising them to avoid submitting forged or manipulated documents. Such actions, the embassy stated, will lead to immediate rejection of the visa application and may also be reported to all Schengen member states.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the embassy released a statement on Tuesday emphasizing the importance of submitting only original documents with visa applications. The statement clearly outlined the consequences of providing fraudulent, falsified, or manipulated documents, which include immediate refusal and notification to all Schengen states.



The embassy’s statement underscored that visa processing is conducted in strict adherence to the rules and standards established by the Schengen cooperation framework. The Schengen area includes countries such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
