Natore: The court here today sent suspended police superintendent (SP) of Mymensingh Range, SM Fazlul Haque, to jail after rejecting his bail plea. Judge Muhammad Abdur Rahim of the Natore Women and Children Repression and Prevention Tribunal delivered the order.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Fazlul Haque, who was the SP of Natore, was transferred to the Mymensingh Range following the filing of a case on October 10 of the previous year. The case involved allegations of dowry and torture against his wife, leading to legal proceedings against him.
