Awareness workshop to be organised in the
Supreme Court (SC) with bench officers, bench readers and section
superintendents to improve the quality of legal aid activities of the
government.
Advocate Abanti Nurul, Assistant Attorney General of the Supreme Court and
Member Secretary of the Supreme Court Legal Aid Committee, confirmed the
matter to BSS today saying that the workshop will be held tomorrow at 3:20 pm
at the Supreme Court Auditorium.
Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique is expected to present as the chief guest
at the event. Judges of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court will also
be present as special guests.
The workshop will be chaired by Justice Jahangir Hossain, chairman of Supreme
Court Legal Aid Committee, Abanti added.
