Dhaka: The 2nd meeting of the 4th Sub-Committee of the Library Committee of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad convened today at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban. The session was chaired by Sub-Committee Convener and Member of Parliament Mohammad Najibur Rahman, MP.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting focused on in-depth discussions regarding the ‘Bangladesh National Parliament Research Act, 2026 (Amended)’ and the ‘Bangladesh National Parliament Research Policy, 2026 (Amended).’ These discussions were aimed at evaluating the amendments and their implications for parliamentary research.
The sub-committee, after thorough deliberation, recommended that the amended Act and Policy be forwarded to the main committee for finalization. This recommendation was officially communicated through a press release issued post-meeting.
The meeting witnessed the participation of officials from the Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat, who were involved in reviewing and contributing to the discussions on the amendments.
