A 22-year-old girl was killed in a road accident in Bhushir Bandar area of Dinajpur district after a truck ran over her on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Priti Rani Roy, 22, an honors 1st year student of Dinajpur Government College, daughter of Chatro Mohon Roy and a resident of Sundarban union of Dinajpur Sadar Upazila.
Saiful Islam, sub-inspector of Dinajpur Highway Police Station, said that the accident occurred when the truck ran over Priti Rani Roy at Bhushir Bandar on Dinajpur-Rangpur highway.
Locals seized the truck and handed it over to police, he added.
