Dhaka:State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr. M A Muhit has called on the opposition to abandon luxurious long drives and rally politics, urging them instead to join efforts in cleaning up the mess left by fascism across the country. He emphasized the need for collaborative action between the government and opposition to address these issues.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Muhit made these remarks as a special guest at the inauguration of a Mobile Fever Clinic service for dengue detection and treatment at Mirpur Adarsha High School. The event was organized by Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC).

The DNCC Administrator Shafiqul Islam Khan chaired the programme, where State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Mir Shahe Alam was present as the chief guest. Dr. Muhit criticized the opposition's focus on rallies and urged them to engage in public service, suggesting that mere photo opportunities would not suffice to address the country's problems.

Dr. Muhit highlighted the transformation of the Mobile Fever Clinic in Mirpur into a comprehensive facility offering not just dengue testing, but also consultations in gynaecology, paediatrics, and dermatology. The clinic provides additional services such as hypertension and diabetes screening, nutrition, and family planning, all free of charge to local residents.
