Tangail:State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock, Sultan Salauddin Tuku, emphasized Bangladesh's commitment to communal harmony, stating that every individual in the nation is Bangladeshi, irrespective of their religious or ethnic identity. He highlighted that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) aims to develop the country in collaboration with people of all faiths and backgrounds.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tuku made these remarks during a meeting with Hindu community members at the Sabalia Panjapara Puja mandap in Tangail town. He underscored the importance of national interests and urged for collective efforts to secure the country's future.
