Chattogram: State Minister for Land and Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin today expressed deep sorrow and grief at the death of Allama Abu Taher Nadvi, the Muhtamim of the Islamic educational institution, Jamia Islamia Patiya Madrasa in Chattogram.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, in a condolence message, the State Minister stated that Allama Abu Taher Nadvi was a beacon in the promotion of Islamic education and culture. His contributions as the Muhtamim of Patiya Madrasa and his tireless efforts in advancing religious education will remain forever remembered in the hearts of scholars and the general public.
With his passing, the nation has lost a distinguished religious guardian, he added. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, students, and well-wishers.
He also prayed that Almighty Allah will grant him Jannatul Ferdous and give strength and patience to his family to endure this profound loss.
