Dhaka: Primary and Mass Education Adviser Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar today announced that the scenario of primary education in the country will evolve, with the government actively working towards this objective. Speaking at a view exchange meeting titled ‘Role of education stakeholders in improving the quality of primary education’ held at the District Shilpakala Academy auditorium, he emphasized the government’s commitment to changing the landscape of primary education.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Bidhan highlighted the primary education system’s role in nurturing the latent potentials of children. He stressed the importance of creating a conducive educational atmosphere to help children realize their dreams. The adviser called upon teachers to play a pivotal role in this transformative process, underscoring their responsibility in fostering a supportive learning environment for young learners.
The event was also addressed by Primary and Mass Education Secretary Abu Taher Md. Masud Rana, Additional Divisional Commissioner Md. Azmul Haque, and Director General of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Abu Nur Md. Shamsuzzaman. Deputy Commissioner Sharifa Haque presided over the meeting, which brought together key stakeholders committed to enhancing the quality of primary education in the nation.
