Dhaka: VFS Global has launched a dedicated South Korea Visa Application Centre in Dhaka, offering Bangladeshi applicants a modern facility for submitting visa applications through a prior online appointment. Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bangladesh Kim Ji-joon and VFS Global Chief Operating Officer for South Asia Yummi Talwar jointly inaugurated the centre in the capital, said a press release here.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the new facility will allow applicants from across Bangladesh to submit their South Korean visa applications after booking appointments online, as stated in a VFS Global press release. "The launch of our Korea Visa Application Centre marks a significant step in improving the visa application submission experience for travellers across Bangladesh," Talwar said.
She further mentioned that the spacious and centrally located facility would provide applicants with a convenient environment, supported by trained customer service representatives throughout the application process. The centre, located at Kamal Ataturk Avenue in Banani, will remain open for applicants from 9 am to 2 pm.
VFS Global has been providing visa processing services for the Government of the Republic of Korea since 2011 and currently offers South Korean visa services across five countries through seven dedicated application centres. Applicants have been advised to obtain updated information on visa requirements, fees, appointment booking, and other services only from the official websites of the Korean Embassy and VFS Global, as noted in the release.
VFS Global currently serves 71 client governments through more than 4,200 application centres in 169 countries and has processed over 557 million transactions since 2001, the release added.
