Dhaka:Sonali Bank PLC has designated 15 senior officials as relationship officers to speed up the recovery of classified loans and bolster the bank's financial status.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the initiative, named "One Officer, One CL Recovery Goal - Making Sonali Strong and Whole," assigns top executive officials specific responsibilities to recover defaulted loans, reduce the volume of classified loans, and enhance the overall quality of banking services.
Sonali Bank Chairman Muhammed Mahbubur Rahman inaugurated the program on Monday. The event was attended by Managing Director Md. Shawkat Ali Khan, Deputy Managing Directors, General Managers, and other relevant officials. The initiative is designed to increase accountability among senior officials and reinforce the bank's efforts to recover defaulted loans.
