Six Matches Conclude on Second Day of Polar Ice Cream School Handball Competition

Dhaka: Six more matches were concluded on the second day of the Polar Ice Cream School Handball competition at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the day’s events featured three matches each for both boys’ and girls’ divisions. In the boys’ category, Ideal School and College secured a narrow victory over Dhaka Govt. Muslim High School with a score of 14-12, following a 7-7 tie in the first half. Sunnydale overcame Nirjar Cantonment Public School by 27-18, maintaining a strong lead after a 14-8 halftime score. Saint Gregory School and College triumphed over Narida Govt High School with a score of 20-18, having initially trailed 9-8 at halftime.



In the girls’ division, Sher-e-Bangla Girls College defeated South Point School and College 7-4, following a 3-3 draw at the end of the first half. Sunnydale displayed a dominant performance against Wills Little Flower School, winning 39-0, after establishing a commanding 20-0 lead in the first half. Viqarunnisa Noon School outperformed Shaheed Bir Uttam Lt. Anwar Girls School with a final score of 24-8, having led 13-5 at halftime.
