Manikganj: Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Director General (DG) Poet Rezauddin Stalin was accorded a reception today by the Manikganj Literature and Cultural Sangshad at the District Shilpakala Academy auditorium. Engineer Zakir Hossain, adviser to the organization, presided over the function, while Afroza Khanam Rita, Chairman of the Monno Group of Industries, attended as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event saw speeches from several notable personalities including National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam researcher Professor Md Zahangir Alam, Public Prosecutor Advocate AFM Nurtaj Alam Bashar, and Senior Advocate ATM Zahirul Alam Khan Lody. Additional speakers included Manikganj Developers Association President Golam Kibria Sayeed, Manikganj Press Club President Zahangir Alam Biswas, Alokito Sahitya Sangshad President Md Habil Uddin, Zia Cultural Sangshad Central Committee Member Mazharul Islam Khan, and Manikganj District Committee Member Secretary Shamim Shikdar.
The programme concluded with a cultural show featuring performances by members of the Zia Cultural Sangshad Central Committee and local artistes.
