Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim today said AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina loves peaceful politics as she wants development of the country and its people.
"Sheikh Hasina doesn't believe in anarchy as she believes in democracy," he told a public rally as the chief guest at Kunia Union Parishad of Madaripur District.
Bahauddin Nasim said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had struggled his entire life for the country and its people as well as builds independent and sovereignty Bangladesh.
Bangabandhu, he said, was imprisonment for 13 years for the change of people's fortune and he didn't bow down to any evil force.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also been working relentlessly for the country and its people and she has turned village into town, he added.
AL Joint General Secretary Nasim urged the AL leaders and activists to be united under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. "We are working to materialize the dream of Bangabandhu's Sonar Bangla," he observed.
He said BNP-Jamaat clique is hatching conspiracy against the government as the party stands against the country's democracy by following the Pakistani ideals.
Military dictator Ziaur Rahman had promulgated Indemnity Ordinance to safe the killers of Bangabandhu. "We will remain alert against any sort of plot of BNP-Jamaat", he added.
President of Madaripur District Awami League Shahabuddin Ahmed Molla preside over the meeting and its General Secretary Kazol Krishna Da moderated it.
