Dhaka: Shaheed Abu Sayeed FIDE Rapid Rating Chess tournament, in memory of Shaheed Abu Sayeed, begins at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room tomorrow (Wednesday).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event will be held in a 9-round Swiss-league format, and a total cash prize of Taka one lakh will be awarded to the winners, as announced in a press release. All participating players are requested to be present at the playing venue before 10:30 am.
