Shahan Joins Haryana Steelers in India for Pro Kabaddi League

Dhaka: Bangladesh’s star kabaddi player Shah Mohammed Shahan has left for Delhi, India, to participate in the 12th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League, the world’s largest kabaddi franchise league. He will be playing for the reigning champion team, Haryana Steelers, making him the sole representative of Bangladesh in the tournament.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Shahan was bought by Haryana Steelers for Rs 13 lakh in the Pro Kabaddi auction held on May 31 and June 1. It is a significant achievement for Shahan to be the only player from the country to get the opportunity to play in the world’s most competitive Kabaddi league.



Shah Mohammed Shahan has been a reliable member of the Bangladesh Kabaddi team for a long time. His tactical skills have made him an indispensable player for the team. His participation in this league is an important step not only for his personal career but also for increasing the international profile of Bangladeshi kabaddi.
