According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, seven additional children have died from measles symptoms in the past 24 hours, as of 8 am on Saturday.
In the same period, health authorities reported 1,180 suspected measles cases and 93 confirmed ones, According to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
From March 15 to October 11, there have been 104 deaths from confirmed measles cases and 1,058 deaths from symptoms resembling measles, bringing the total death toll to 1,162.
Throughout this period, the country recorded 227,449 measles cases, consisting of 205,028 suspected cases and 22,421 confirmed cases. Since March 15, 174,469 patients have been discharged from hospitals.
