Dhaka: A two-day scientific conference and science fair commenced at Chandpur Medical College in the district today. This marks the first-ever event of its kind on the college premises since the institution’s establishment.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the fair was inaugurated at 11 am on the rooftop of the Chandpur Government General Hospital building. Students from various academic batches actively participated, showcasing their innovations and research-based presentations.
A total of 21 stalls were set up, featuring a wide range of scientific and medical topics presented by student groups. Group leaders explained their respective projects before a panel of teachers and judges, emphasizing the students’ creative and research-oriented efforts.
Faculty members from Chandpur Medical College, along with doctors from Chandpur Government General Hospital, visited the stalls and participated in evaluating the student presentations.
