Colombo: FIDE Master Sakline Mostafa Sajid has climbed to a shared 3rd position in the points table with 3.5 points, joining seven other players after the completion of the 6th round games in the Asian Junior (Under-20) Chess Championship currently taking place in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the 5th and 6th round matches were held today. In the 5th round, FIDE Master Sakline Mostafa Sajid achieved victory over FIDE Master Adireddy Arjun of India. However, in the 6th round, he faced a setback with a loss to International Master Jain Kashish Manoj of India.
