SAFF Champions Get Cash Reward of Taka One Crore.

DHAKA: The national Sports Council (NSC) has issued thirty-two cheques for players and officials of the SAFF-winning Bangladesh women's football team, equally disbursing the promised Taka one crore reward, Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud confirmed the matter in a post on his official page. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the NSC notice stated that cheques worth Taka 3,12,500 for each player and official of the team have been issued and are ready to be handed over. This financial reward comes as a recognition of the team's outstanding achievement. Earlier, on October 31, the Youth and Sports Adviser announced a cash reward of Taka one crore for the women's football team on behalf of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This was in celebration of their victory in the prestigious SAFF Women's Championship title for the second consecutive time, following a 2-1 victory over Nepal in the final held in Kathmandu on October 30.
