Rajshahi:The Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) authorities have decided to establish a foreign language centre, following directives from the University Grants Commission (UGC).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the centre will initially offer German and Japanese language courses. This decision was made during the university's 115th emergency syndicate meeting, which took place at the Vice-Chancellor's conference room on Saturday.
The meeting was presided over by RUET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr S M Abdur Razzak. The new centre aims to enhance students' foreign language skills and broaden their opportunities in the international job market.
