RUET Launches Foundation Training for 67 Newly Recruited Teachers

Rajshahi: Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has organized a weeklong foundation training program for its newly recruited teachers. The initiative aims to enhance the professional skills of the participants, focusing on teaching proficiency and professional development.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the training, which is being held at the RUET Hall, is organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The program is designed to enhance teaching skills, promote professional growth, and ensure the delivery of quality education. The opening ceremony was addressed by Vice-Chancellor Prof Abdur Razzaque, who served as the chief guest, while IQAC Director Prof Imdadul Haque presided over the event.



Several notable figures, including the Dean of the Applied Science and Humanity Faculty, Prof Abdul Kader Zilani, Electronics and Computer Science Faculty Dean Prof Bashir Ahmed, and Mechanical Engineering Faculty Dean Prof Nurul Islam, also spoke at the ceremony. In his speech, Prof Abdur Razzaque highlighted the importance of the foundation training in fostering professional and academic leadership among the new teachers.



Prof Razzaque expressed his expectation that the newly recruited teachers would become vital contributors to building future workforces. He emphasized the importance of acquiring skills in teaching, research, and moral values through the training. He also encouraged participants to make the best use of the knowledge gained during the training in their professional endeavors.
