Deukhuri: A two-day capacity enhancement training for Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) journalists has concluded here today. The training was organised by RSS with assistance from the Home Ministry, Lumbini Province.
On the occasion, Manju Pokharel, chief of the Law Section, the Home Ministry, Lumbini Province, said the province office was always positive about journalists. The province has abundant potential and media-persons should highlight this, she said.
President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Bipul Pokharel informed about the subjects like education, health, religion and tourism on which news should be written for the development of Lumbini Province.
RSS executive chairperson Dharmendra Jha urged journalists to be always active, positive and impartial at work while general manager Siddha Raj Rai stressed the need for following the journalist code of conduct.
RSS chief reporter Uttam Silwal asked journalists to focus on fact and authenticity of news. The training session was attended by
RSS journalists from various districts of the province.
