RMP Commissioner Calls for Enhanced Coordination to Combat Crime

Dhaka: Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Commissioner Mohammad Foizul Kabir has called for strengthening coordination among concerned agencies to control crime and ensure public safety. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts during a crime review and coordination meeting at the RMP headquarters.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting focused on various strategies to enhance law enforcement effectiveness. Discussions included the speedy disposal of cases, quality investigation processes, execution of anti-narcotics drives, and the implementation of increased night patrols. The meeting also highlighted the need for prompt medical and post-mortem reports, improved police services, and strict compliance with court directives.

The meeting saw participation from RMP officials alongside representatives from the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Narcotics Control Department, River Police, Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Rajshahi City Corporation, Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, and other relevant organizations.
