Dhaka: Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser to the Ministry of Water Resources, has advocated for a swift response by the Water Development Board in the event of any river erosion. She emphasized the need for immediate action while exchanging Eid greetings with ministry officials and staff on the first working day following Eid-ul-Azha.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the suggestion was made during an event held in the ministry's meeting room at the Secretariat. Rizwana Hasan underscored the importance of expediting the ongoing activities of various departments and affiliated organizations, highlighting the need for enhanced efficiency and coordination.
The event saw the presence of Nazmul Ahsan, Secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources, alongside senior officials and employees, who participated in the discussions.
