Dhaka: The interim government of Bangladesh has confirmed that all reform initiatives it has undertaken are entirely ‘homegrown,’ as stated by Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, during a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Alam emphasized the transparency of the reform process, reiterating that the initiatives are conceived and executed domestically. Despite being homegrown, Alam acknowledged the support of Bangladesh’s friendly partners and well-wishers for the reform agenda.

Present at the briefing were Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, and Senior Assistant Press Secretary, Foyez Ahammad.
