Dhaka: A programme titled ‘Red July’ is set to be inaugurated tomorrow at the Shilpakala Academy premises as part of the July revival. A series of events have been organized for a month under the management of the Cultural Affairs Ministry and the Shilpakala Academy. These events are aimed at commemorating the resurgence of the July uprising memory in Bangladesh.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sahria Khan Palash, the father of July revolution martyred Shahriar Khan Anas, along with his mother Sanjida Khan Dipti, will officially inaugurate the programme at 11:00 am at the Shilpakala Academy ground. The Secretary of the Academy and Director General, Mohammad Wares Hossain, will also be present during the inaugural function.
