RCC Constructs Eye-Catching Mosque at Central Park

Rajshahi: Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has been constructing an eye-catching mosque at the city's central park to facilitate prayers for both local residents and visitors. Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Nasimul Gani today inaugurated the roof-casting work of the mosque and lauded the city corporation's initiative for implementing such a project.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Nasimul Gani expressed hope that once completed, the mosque would provide a serene environment for people from within and outside the city to offer prayers and find spiritual solace. The project aims to enhance the religious and community facilities available in the area.

The event was attended by several prominent figures, including the Commissioner of Rajshahi Division and RCC Administrator Khondoker Azim Ahmed, Deputy Inspector General of Police Dr. Muhammad Shahjahan, Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Muhammad Abu Sufian, Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi Afia Akhter, RCC Chief Executive Officer Rejaul Karim, and Superintendent of Police Farzana Islam. Their presence underscored the significance of the mosque project for the community.
