Rajshahi: On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha today, Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton and his wife extended Eid celebrations to orphaned, helpless, and underprivileged children at the Integrated Child Rehabilitation Center (Girls’ Branch) in Rajshahi.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, they visited the center in the Uposhahar area of the city this afternoon. During their visit, they spent time with the children, inquired about their well-being, and exchanged Eid greetings. In a gesture of goodwill, they brought home-cooked food, served it to the children, and gifted them new Eid clothes.
RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton emphasized the core values of Eid-ul-Azha, stating, “The main teachings of the holy Eid-ul-Azha are sacrifice, empathy, and humanity. The joy of Eid is only complete when we can bring smiles to the faces of the underprivileged, orphaned, and helpless children of our society.” He urged everyone to fulfill their humanitarian responsibilities in building a bright future for these children.
Officials and staff members of the Integrated Child Rehabilitation Center (Girls’ Branch) were also present during the visit.
