Rajshahi:Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) and North Bengal International University (NBIU) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation in education, research, human resource development, and financial inclusion.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the agreement was signed at RAKUB's head office on Thursday afternoon by NBIU Director of Accounts Ashraful Huda and RAKUB Deputy General Manager Mohammad Ziaul Haque, representing their respective institutions.
The MoU will also support joint research initiatives in areas such as education, information technology, rural development, and finance.
Key figures present at the signing ceremony included RAKUB Chairman Professor Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman, and NBIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Sayedur Rahman. Officials emphasized that the agreement will bolster collaboration between the banking and higher education sectors in the northern region of the country.
