Rajshahi:Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) held an exchange meeting with its Cleaning Department staff to ensure the city remains tidy during the Sharadiya Durga Puja-2026.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting took place at the City Hall Room of Nagar Bhaban, with RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton serving as the chief guest. During the meeting, he issued directives to the department's officers and employees, emphasizing their responsibility in maintaining cleanliness at Puja mandaps and other significant locations throughout the festival.
He further instructed the continuation of regular cleaning activities to ensure a clean and healthy environment for the city's residents during the celebrations. RCC Chief Executive Officer Rezaul Karim and Secretary Sohel Rana attended the event, while Chief Cleaning Officer Sheikh Md. Mamun gave the welcome address.
The discussions focused on measures to ensure smooth cleaning operations during the festival, maintaining cleanliness at Puja mandaps and surrounding areas, and providing a clean and healthy environment for city dwellers.
