Bangladesh: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rain and thundershowers in various parts of the country, including Dhaka, over the next 24 hours starting from 9 am on Sunday.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the BMD has indicated that rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds and lightning, are likely to occur in a few areas across the Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. Furthermore, one or two locations in the Rajshahi, Khulna, and Barishal divisions might also experience similar weather conditions, with the possibility of hail in isolated areas.

The forecast also suggests a slight drop in day and night temperatures across the country. This weather pattern is influenced by a trough of low pressure over West Bengal and the surrounding region, as well as a seasonal low over the South Bay, contributing to the expected meteorological changes.
