Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department today forecasted rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, "Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
A few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions are likely to experience moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country, the bulletin stated.
Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the nation. The highest temperature recorded today was 36 degrees Celsius in Sylhet, while the minimum was 24.8 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:49pm today and rise at 5:19am tomorrow.
