Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a Met office bulletin issued this morning indicated that rain and thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes, are likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. Additionally, one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions may also experience such weather conditions.
The bulletin further mentioned that the day temperature is expected to remain nearly unchanged, while the night temperature may fall slightly across the country. It was noted that the highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius in Satkhira under the Khulna division, whereas today’s minimum temperature was 20 degrees Celsius in Tetulia under the Rangpur division.
The sun is set to set at 6:30 pm today and will rise at 5:20 am
tomorrow in Dhaka.
