Rain Forecasted Across Bangladesh with Potential Temperature Drop

Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds across the country for the next 24 hours, beginning from 9 am today.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD release indicates that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at many locations across Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. Similarly, a few places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Mymensingh divisions may also experience these weather conditions.



The release further notes the possibility of moderately heavy to heavy rainfall in certain areas of the country. Additionally, it predicts a decrease in day temperatures by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, with a slight drop in night temperatures nationwide.



The highest temperature recorded today was 37 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat, Rangpur, while the lowest was 25 degrees Celsius in Rangamati. In Dhaka, sunset is expected at 6:49 pm today, with sunrise at 5:20 am tomorrow.
