Rain Forecasted Across Bangladesh Divisions

Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that various regions of the country will experience rain in the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am today. "Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions," mentioned a bulletin issued by the Met office this morning.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, moderately heavy to heavy rainfall is also expected in certain areas across the nation. The day and night temperatures are predicted to remain nearly unchanged throughout the country. On Tuesday, the highest temperature was recorded at 33.9 degrees Celsius in Kutubdia, whereas today's minimum temperature was noted at 23.8 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.

Significant rainfall was observed in the past 24 hours, with Rajshahi receiving the highest at 97 millimeters as of 6 am today. The sun is expected to set at 6:19 pm today and rise at 5:45 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
