Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecast rain in different parts of the country during the next 24 hours beginning from 9am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a Met Office bulletin issued this morning indicates that light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes, is likely to occur at many places across Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. The bulletin also mentions that moderately heavy to heavy falls are expected at certain locations.
The report further highlights that the day temperature may decrease by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, while the night temperature is expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country. On Tuesday, the highest temperature was recorded at 36.0 degrees Celsius in Mongla, Khulna division, whereas today’s minimum temperature was noted at 20.0 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj, Dhaka division.
Additionally, the bulletin informs that the sun will set at 6:40 pm today and will rise at 5:12 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
